Setting Up Horde Mail So that Deleted Messages Go In the Trash Folder |

This article is about how to set up Horde Mail to put deleted messages in the Trash folder instead of marking them for deletion. - While you are logged into Horde and have Mail open click on Options.
- Under the Message Options category click on Deleting and Moving Messages.
- Click on the drop-down menu below the words Trash folder: and select the Trash folder. (Actually, you should be able to use any folder but the trash folder is not by default used for anything is and it is the logical choice!)
- Then put a check in the box next to the line that reads When deleting messages, move them to your Trash folder instead of marking them as deleted?
- Click on Save Options
You can then return to Mail and from this point on any messages you delete will go into your Trash folder. JUST BE SURE TO EMPTY YOUR TRASH FOLDER EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE!
