I charge a flat rate of $60 for virus and spyware removal when you bring your computer to me or if it is within 5 miles and I have to pick it up. (Call or email for pick up charges outside of 5 miles.) I only need your tower / desktop unit to work on your computer. I do not need your keyboard, mouse, or monitor.

I can also work on your computer while it is in its current location. However, virus and spyware scans can take several hours to run and you will be billed $25 for each hour. (I only recommend this if you believe that you have a virus or spyware on a mission critical system that can not be taken out of service for any amount of time. Otherwise, it is best to bring your system to me.)

The flat rate includes removal of all viruses and spyware, installation of a free anti-virus program if necessary, registry checkup (Microsoft Windows), and installation of all available operating system updates.
